ARTIST'S BIO

"Art work has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember." 

Donna has been a featured artist at the Montana Craft Connection Gallery in Missoula MT., and twice at the Buffalo Jump Gallery in Stevensville MT. 2005 and 2006.  Her work has been published on the cover of “Precision Scale Co.” 1993 issue, and as a CD cover of the “Cold-Drill America’s Work Force” 1992 issue.  Donna has also been commissioned to create logos for a number of different companies.

    Her work is currently displayed in The Red Poppy Gallery, Ronan MT, the Long Horn Trading Post in Hamilton, MT, the Rivers Mist Gallery, Stevensville, MT and Rivers Edge Gallery, Twin Bridges, MT.

    Donna displayed some of her art in 1990 at the CM Russell Museum in Great Falls, MT. and the Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko Nevada.  She has had shows in Virginia City and Missoula, MT and her work has been selected as Missoula County Fair “Best of Show” on several occasions. Her piece “Future Champ” was recently awarded an honorable mention in the “Equine in Art” magazine. 

    Donna has mainly worked on commissioned art and produced specialty plasma art patterns for 3 companies over the last 5 years.   Her specialties are rodeo and equine portraits, but western art is her primary consideration.

    Donna resides near Stevensville, MT. with her husband Reuben, and daughter Becky.  They also raised 4 sons, Cody, Chance, Coal, and Kyle.  They raise barrel and ranch horses, and bucking bulls.  Donna and Becky spend a large part of their time riding colts and rodeoing, aside from the art.
